Havana Airport Terminal 2 was opened in 1988. It is located in the north part of Havana Airport, facing the runway 24.
It is one of the international terminals along with Terminal 3. It hosts the charter flights to various United States cities (Fort Lauderdale, New York, Tampa, Miami, etc.)
The Terminal is exclusively used for both US residents with special permission and Cuban citizens with US visa who wish to board any of the available charter flights.
In the last years, Terminal 2 underwent several upgrading works, especially in 2010, when it was reconstructed. Nowadays, the terminal counts with amenities such as restaurants, cafés, rental car desks, book shops, newsagents, among other services.
